GET MARRIED: Olivia Rae James

A good photographer was one of the things that came up tops for our wedding plan priorities. Both of us put so much more value on building a great marriage than on having an impressive wedding day. However, we want to be able to remember each part of the day that changed everything for us. We want to recall clearly all who were there to help us celebrate and recollect just how much laughter was had. We want to evidence all of our family & friends in one place at the same time, just to prove it did happen once.

Step in Olivia Rae James. I've been reading Olivia's blog for over three years now (at the recommendation of a very lovely friend) and have slowly fallen more and more in love with the gentleness and grace captured within her photographs. After looking for a few of her recent wedding snaps to showcase for you here, I ended up on page 89 of her Flickr photostream. I realised that my cup of tea had gone cold and I had been completely immersed for 45 minutes, but there was absolutely no feeling that my time had been wasted. I just can't think of anyone else who can shoot things exactly how they are 'meant' to look.
